Hi there, I’m Ka’li Adora

I'm an IMDHA Accredited Somatic Hypnotherapist and graduate of the Integrated Healing Arts Practitioner degree program at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. I've also completed advanced practitioner training with Restorative Hypnosis in spiritual hypnotherapy, IFS, somatic experiencing, and past life regression.

When I began this training, I was often the only person in the room who looked like me. But when I looked at the women in my community and my own family, the need was undeniable. Black, brown, and Indigenous people have always used trance, shamanism, and body-based practices to heal and be in community with one another.

The Adora Method™ is my contribution to that legacy. Adora means ‘beloved’. That's who you are walking in, and who you'll know yourself to be walking out.

“We may not be responsible for the world that created our minds, but we can take responsibility for the mind with which we create our world.”

My Story

Losing my mother young left my nervous system rarely feeling safe, and that shaped how I took up space, who I let close, and how quickly I would abandon myself to keep the peace. I overworked, drank too much, over exercised and micromanaged everyone around me, anything to avoid being with myself.

After a deep dark night of the soul, I tried traditional therapy, plant medicine and meditation teaching, but my body stayed tense and the patterns kept repeating. When a friend introduced me to hypnosis, I went in skeptical.

During a session, I was guided to a memory of myself under two years old and held that young version of me, letting her know she was safe. In that moment, I felt an opening in my chest and the familiar tension dissolve. The heavy pain I had carried for years simply was not there anymore.

Eventually I wanted to share what had worked for me with others. My experience led me to train for several years and eventually create The Adora Method, a somatic and spiritual approach to help women move beyond the surface and into their inner world. If you feel called toward deeper healing, schedule a consultation to explore whether this work is right for you.

My Values

DEPTH

Healing happens at the root, not the surface. We go beyond awareness to release the patterns that truly shape your life on all 3 planes. Physical, Emotional & Spiritual

INTEGRITY

We are honest about who this work is for, about what this work is and what it is not. No hype, quick fixes or spiritual bypassing. Your growth requires your active participation and devotion

EMBODIMENT

Transformation that lands in your body. Real change is felt, lived and integrated into daily life. As a practitioner I will always be actively honing my skillset and embodying the results of my own inner work

I hold deep respect for the nervous system, cultural context, ancestry and personal timing. Every client's journey is unique, and the healing that happens in session ripples outward to everyone they're in relationship with.
